Miscellaneous Normog Historical Snippets

Introducing the original team Normog, reading from left to right:-

At the AGM in June 1970, the Morgan 4/4 club changed its name to become "The Morgan Sports Car

Club", (MSCC).

There existed then both a Northern Centre and a Real Northern Centre, the latter becoming known as The Northern Centre (Durham)

ln 1972 it changed to The Durham Centre then became The Durham & North East Centre with Andy Garlick as Centre Secretary.

ln 1973 The Durham Centre introduced Team NORMOG, used for racing at Croft and for the infamous trip by Andy to the Nurburgring.  Also in 1973 The Northern Centre introduced NORCEMOG for their competitive teams Norcemog being a contraction of NORthernCEntre,
